My heart rate has been 102 to 129 for 2 weeks I"ve had my haert checked what could it be?

tachycardia.... are u stress, anxious, or in any pain non related to your chest or left arm, any pain related to your heart(chest pain, left arm, tingling... are u out of breath?

That%26#039;s not normal, normal heart rate is 60-100 beats/min.

You need to go back to your doctor%26#039;s and get it checked out again

My heart rate has been 102 to 129 for 2 weeks I%26quot;ve had my haert checked what could it be?

Are you drinking or eating anything that could cause this? Energy drinks, coffee, soda, allergy medications are all culprits. Even if you%26#039;re not feeling well, or had any signs of infections lately, such as a bad tooth. If it isn%26#039;t this, I would seek a different doctor%26#039;s opinion because not all doctors study the heart. A family doctor will not have the same knowledge as a cardiologist. If you can%26#039;t find a legitimate reason for this, don%26#039;t stress yourself out-just make an appointment and relieve your concerns. Sometimes the price of a doctor%26#039;s appointment is worth the hassle.

It could be medications, talk to your doctor about possible side effects. It could also be your diet. Drink a lot of caffiene? What about sugar? Try cutting down on those.

I have a very high resting heart rate. About 85-95 bpm. I%26#039;ve had an EKG and worn a Holter monitor, but I%26#039;m fine. It really scared me for a while, but I%26#039;ve learned to live with it. Some people just have naturally high heart rates. Talk to your another doctor about it. If something is wrong, medications can slow it down.

You probably have the initial onset of what is known as Atrial Fibrillation.

You need to see a Cartiologist, not some family practice doctor who are not trained that well on heart diseases. It is unheard of that a Doctor would send a patient home with a 129 heart beat and not directly to a Cartiologist office for immediate diagnosis and treatment. Simply irresponsible action on your doctor%26#039;s part.

On the 129 beats, that is approaching the dangerous area in which a heart can self destruct at that speed. Your heart%26#039;s electrical system at rates you are saying probably has gone haywire.

The norm at rest is not 85 to90. The norm is near 50 to 70 at rest state. Exercise and brisk walk its more norm about 95 to 100 And a run might drive it up to 120. But to have a 129 at rest state, is dangerous as any brisk walk will certainly drive that higher.

There are medications that can control high speed heart beat once diagnosed. Untreated, these can be deadly. This is a more common disease that you might think. Take a look on the ClevelandClinic site. They have very good informaton on this type of high speed heart beat known as a form of Atrial Fibrillation.
