Don%26#039;t be too sure. My son has had a higher heart rate all along. I guess they used to actually use this method to tell the sex of the baby before ultrasounds became advanced enough to tell. A woman I know told me they told her she was definately having a boy. Up until the end they told her she was because of the heart rate. She had a girl. =)

This is all a myth and not based on facts at all. Its like saying if you crave meat and salty food its a boy and if its a sweets its a girl Fake. In my first pregnancy I loved fruit smoothies. This time around I love cakes, buns, bread and smoothies and meat. Last time I was pregnant with my son, and this time with another son. so no. Its not true.and as for heart rate my baby%26#039;s heart rates were both high. so no it can mean either or.

i%26#039;m 8.5 weeks and just had my first u/s. my fetal heart rate was 167 too. everyone says that you can not tell by the heart rate what you are having.... so i wouldn%26#039;t put too much belief in that.
