Normally it does....That%26#039;s the whole idea of lie detector machines. The graph moves when your heartbeat speeds up and most people%26#039;s will when they lie. Average is about 70 to 80 beats per minute but people may vary.

about 70 to 80 and yes anything can make it go up or down!plus i assume you are talking pulse not blood pressure, my pulse has been about 100 at rest my whole life and i%26#039;m still alive and kicking though I%26#039;m told this is bad! so consult webmd site for more detailed answer and good luck!

So many things can affect heart rate including a scare, excitement, caffeine, cigarettes, sex, laying down, exercise, and medications. Did you ever get scared and feel like your chest was pounding?
