What does it mean when they say the fetus heart rate is slowing?

i am 6 weeks pregnant and went to the ER as i was spotting... they took me for an ultrasound and the lady was showing the baby and the heart beat... but after the DR got the results he said the fetuses heartbeat was slowing, he was concerned but the 2nd dr said they can%26#039;t say that as in early pregnancy it drops and speeds up all the time... i have a follow up u/s tomorrow but neither DR explained what any of it mean%26#039;t as the spotting isn%26#039;t painful

Just stay in bed until you have to leave for your appointment, and try not to worry. They will do the ultrasound tomorrow and give you a better idea of what%26#039;s going on.

Not sure, do you know the how many beats per minute it was at? 118 - 120 is normal.
