My daughter had an ultrasound today she is 6 1/2 weeks and the heart rate is only at 60 ,?

has anyone else ever have a slow rate like this and it improved. Is there any hope?

Im not sure I was ever told what the heart rate was so early in the pregnancy.. Did they tell her this is a concern?? Maybe they are slow when they are just starting to beat..

a heartbeat at 6 1/2 weeks is awesome! they couldnt even detect one with me until 8 weeks. did the doctor seem concerned? im sure the baby is fine but i would just call and ask the doc to ease your mind.

When I was 6 1/2 weeks along the babys heart beat was more than double that. I%26#039;m sorry to hear about this. I hope it was an error or something, but your daughter will need to speak with her doc. ASAP about this, it could be the baby has a heart defect....GOOD LUCK!!!!

There is always hope, miracles do happen everyday. I am not sure what this means. They should have explained that to her. Call any OB office and make an appt. Even if her doc refuses to help, there is someone out there who will. Don%26#039;t stress, it could make things worse.
